This incredible resin is seen in ancient Egyptian records for having been used in cosmetics, perfumes, and even as an agent in embalming.

Today, we use this resin for incense and well-known in many spiritual communities as a familiar and grounding aroma. Useful for visualizing, improving one’s spiritual connection, and centering, it has comforting properties that help focus the mind and overcome stress and despair. At one time, frankincense was valued as highly as gold.

To use:
1. Light a charcoal block
2.Place in your fire and heat safe cauldron or dish.
3.Once ignited and underway, place the resin on the block.
4.Enjoy the fragrant smoke.

Or simply place on foil directly on the stove top on low heat.

Ethiopian frankincense (Boswellia catarii) is used for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain (rheumatism), bursitis, and tendonitis. Other uses include ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain, asthma, hay fever, sore throat, syphilis, painful menstruation, pimples, and cancer.

Indian frankincense is also used as a stimulant, to increase urine flow, and for stimulating menstrual flow.
